Moss
Generative design workflow: Data-Driven Optimization
3D-printed ceramic structures inspired by the traditional Botijo cooling system, designed to host and sustain moss growth for natural air purification. The geometry is parametrically generated and performance-optimized: by entering initial data such as location, environmental conditions, and material properties, the system automatically produces an optimized design that enhances evaporation, supports moss development, and improves indoor air quality. This fusion of vernacular wisdom, advanced fabrication, and nature-based strategies creates a responsive architectural component aimed at healthier living environments.
